WARNING

THE E-Z ACCESS SEAT USES A SPRING TO ASSIST WHEN THE SEAT IS TILTED FORWARD. USE CAUTION WHEN RELEASING THE
TILT MECHANISM.

While pushing firmly against the floor mount hook assembly release the tilt mechanism using the E-Z access lever. (See Figure 1)

Remove two screws and the plastic latch cover. (See Figure 2)

5.

Relieve spring tension on the latch hooks by disconnecting the two springs from the rear of the seat riser. (See Figure 2)

6.

Hold the latch hooks rearward and rotate the E-Z access handle downward, then pull the handle outward to disengage it from the actuating tab.

7.

Remove the four E-clips from the shaft.

8.

Slide the shaft out and remove the hooks and springs.

NOTE

IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO TAP THE SHAFT OUT USING A SMALL HAMMER. USE CAUTION NOT TO DAMAGE THE SEAT RISER.

INSTALL THE REVISED E-Z ACCESS LATCH

NOTE
THE REVISED LATCH KIT COMES ASSEMBLED IN THE BOX. PLEASE NOTE THE WAY THE PARTS ARE ASSEMBLED. THE PARTS
MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE SHAFT AND REASSEMBLED TO THE SEAT ASSEMBLY IN THE SAME POSITION.
