Position the latch return springs (Figure 5) on the shaft. Push the shaft through the second hole in the drive bracket, but not through the second
hole in the seat riser.
CAUTION
THE SPRINGS ARE SYMMETRICALLY OPPOSITE AND MUST BE INSTALLED AS SHOWN FOR CORRECT LATCH OPERATION.

Slide the toothed hook between the drive bracket and the seat riser. Make sure that a teflon washer is attached to each side of the hook (Figure 6).
