system of the master cylinder causing excessive brake
pedal travel and loss of rear wheel brake effectiveness.
These conditions can occur in cold weather (less than about +40 degrees F).
Excessive pedal travel may be noticed during light and prolonged brake applications. The loss of the rear brake effectiveness
could result in a crash.
To correct these conditions, dealers must inspect for and replace certain brake master cylinders.
