Aerostar 2WD V6-245 4.0L (1990)
32. Install the starter motor and a new oil filter.
NOTE: It is recommended that no engine oil be added for 24 hours.
33. Lower the vehicle and fill the crankcase with the recommended quantity and quality of engine oil.
34. Connect the negative battery cable.
35. Start the engine and check for leaks.
NOTE: On vehicles equipped with EEC, when the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur
while the powertrain control module relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 10 miles or more to relearn the strategy.
