Fuel Pump Inertia Switch: Service and Repair

TO RESET SWITCH
1.

Turn ignition switch to OFF.

2.

Check for leaking fuel in the engine compartment, fuel lines and tank(s).

3.

If no fuel leak is apparent, reset the switch by pushing the reset button on the top of the switch.

4.

Turn ignition switch to START for a few seconds, then to OFF.

5.

Again, check for leaking fuel.
