Refer to the attached transmission model chart and build date code, Figure 1. If the transmission model is listed, replace the existing 2-3 backout spring
in bore 211 of the Main Control Assembly with a WHITE revised calibrated spring, part # F3TZ-7D230-A. Refer to Figure 2 for the 2-3 backout spring
location, and refer to the 1992 Ranger/Explorer/Aerostar Service Manual, Section 07-01A, for service details.
