Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

Air Cleaner Assembly

REMOVAL

 1.

Disconnect negative battery terminal and set aside.

 2.

Disconnect outlet tube clamps from air cleaner cover and throttle body.

 3.

Remove air cleaner outlet tube assembly.

 4.

Remove two air cleaner assembly retaining nuts from below R.H. fender apron.

 5.

Remove air cleaner assembly.

INSTALLATION

 1.

Install air cleaner assembly into position aligning studs with holes in sheetmetal.

 2.

Install two retaining nuts. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS.

 3.

Install air cleaner outlet tube.

 4.

Connect negative battery terminal.

 5.

Start engine and check for air leaks.
