5. Support the end of the shaft by suspending it from a convenient under body component with a length of wire.
CAUTION: Do not allow the shaft to hang unsupported, damage to the outboard Constant Velocity (CV) joint may result.
6. Loosen the shock absorber on the lower control arm and move it to the side.
7. Remove the rubber jounce bumper.
