Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Description and Operation
PURPOSE
The cooling fan motor draws air through the radiator to dissipate heat absorbed by the coolant.
OPERATION
The cooling fan operates on an as-needed basis. When operation is needed, the powertrain control module energizes the fan motor through a relay.
