Aspire L4-81 1.3L SOHC (1994)
Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair
1. Remove transaxle from vehicle.

2. Remove flywheel attaching bolts and flywheel, then the engine rear cover plate.
3. Remove seal retainer attaching bolts and seal retainer, then carefully pry out oil seal using suitable tool.
4. Lubricate, then install seal using suitable tool.
NOTE: Ensure hollow side of seal faces toward engine.
5. Install seal retainer and tighten to 6-8 lb ft. Trim off excess gasket material after installation.
6. Tighten flywheel bolts to 71-76 lb ft.
7. Reverse rest of procedures to complete.
