Inspect the gap between the rubber fuel return hose and highest point of the heater hose clamp near the fuel pressure regulator. Specified
clearance is 15mm.

Adjust the rubber fuel return hose to heater hose clamp clearance by repositioning the steel fuel return tube (located below the brake booster
between the bulkhead and steering gear)
(Refer back to Figure 1 for Steel Return Tube location) upward to obtain the specified clearance. See Figure 2.

Rubber Fuel Supply Hose to Accelerator Cable Clearance

Inspect the gap between the rubber fuel supply hose and the accelerator cable. Specified clearance is 10 mm.
