FORD:
1994 ASPIRE
ISSUE:
Some vehicles may require increased effort when rolling up the window glass. The glass may bind or come out of the track making it hard/impossible to
roll. It may break. This is due to the front glass guide position varying during assembly of the door causing the glass to fit loose or tight, bind and/or fall
out of the track.
ACTION:
Inspect the position of the track and adjust if needed. Inspect the regulator and glass and replace as needed. Refer to the following procedures for service
details.
INSPECTION
1.
Verify concern by physical inspection of the door. Is the glass off the track and/or are window roll up efforts high?
a.
YES: Remove door panel, speaker, and plastic water shield per the 1994 Aspire Service Manual, Section 01-11-7. Go to Step 2.
b.
NO: Review/verify concern with customer.
