If mounting bosses on finish panel are damaged, obtain a new tailgate power window switch and finish panel. If mounting bosses are not damaged,
obtain a new tailgate power window switch only, Figure 12.

Install the new tailgate power window switch in the proper position on finish panel and check for a gap between the mounting bosses and the
mounting "ears" on the switch. If no gap exists, install the (2) switch mounting screws and reinstall the finish panel.

5.

If a gap exists between the mounting bosses and the tailgate power window switch, install a flat washer (44719-S8) between the mounting bosses
and switch before installing the (2) attaching screws, Figure 12.

6.

Check operation of the tailgate power window switch. Make sure system operates properly and binding is corrected.
