Second-Stage Inspection

Refer to Exhibit III, View Z. Remove the bumper ball hitch, if the truck is so equipped. Remove existing abrasive strips (Item #2) from the bumper
to reveal four pop rivets (Item #3) holding the top cover plate to the bumper.

Using a 3/16-inch drill bit, drill the four pop rivets out allowing removal of the rear bumper step gasket (Item #5) and rear bumper step bracket
(Item #I). Remove all signs of rivet debris from the bumper and use caution not to enlarge the rivet holes during the drilling procedure. Discard the
