Refer to Exhibit II, View W. Inspect the hitch tube

Look at the metal around the lower part of the hitch tube as it extends through the bottom part of the bumper.

Locate two 1/2-inch long welds.
^
If one or both of the welds are cracked or broken, replace the bumper assembly.
