ISSUE:
Windnoise from the door glass run and extension assembly around the "blowout" clip area may be caused by gaps beneath the run near the
clips.
ACTION:
To correct this, add a piece of foam tape on the inboard side of the "blowout" clips using the following service procedure.

Roll window all the way down.

Grab hold of "blow-out" clip and gently pull clip and run out as shown in Figure 16. Do not pull clip and run all the way out.
3.
Use a piece of 3M Scotch Foam Tape #4318 (one layer) 1.00" wide x 3.5" long x 1/8" thick. Peel off paper back and apply foam tape over inboard
side of "blow-out" clip as shown in Figure 16.
4.
Reinstall clip and run to door frame.
5.
Repeat this procedure on other window.
6.
Test drive vehicle and be sure windnoise concern has been corrected.
