Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

Fig. 10 Headlamp Switch Replacement.

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable (two ground cables on diesel engines).

2.

Pull light switch knob out to On position.

3.

Depress shaft release button and remove knob and shaft assembly.

4.

Remove instrument panel finish panel, Fig. 1.

5.

Remove bezel nut, lower switch, disconnect electrical connector and remove switch from vehicle.

6.

Reverse procedure to install.
