AND/OR BIND - MAY NOT RELEASE - VEHICLES 
EQUIPPED WITH REAR DISC BRAKES

For Kansas City assembly plant vehicles built through 1/20/97 and Cuautitlan assembly plant vehicles built through 2/28/97.

ISSUE:
The parking brake on vehicles equipped with rear disc brakes may stick and/or bind when attempting to release and/or may not release at all on some
vehicles. This may be due to water entering the cable and freezing.

ACTION:
Replace the parking brake cables and release springs. The revised cables have an integral seal to reduce the possibility of water entering the cable. Refer
to the Instruction Sheet included in the kit for service details.
