Air Filter Element: Service and Repair
Air Cleaner Assembly
REMOVAL
1. Release the retaining clips and remove the mass air flow sensor from the engine air cleaner.
2. Release the retaining clips and remove air cleaner cover.
3. Remove air cleaner element.
INSTALLATION
1. Clean all inside surfaces of engine air cleaner.
2. Install the air cleaner element. Check the element seal to ensure that it is fully seated in the groove.
3. Install air cleaner cover. Fasten retaining clips.
4. Install the mass air flow sensor onto the engine air cleaner and fasten the retaining clips.
