Control Assembly: Service and Repair
Climate Control Assembly Switch
REMOVAL
1. Remove climate control assembly.
2. Remove knob.
3. Disconnect wire connector from heater blower motor switch or wire connector and vacuum hose harness from A/C damper door switch.
4. Remove retaining screw and heater blower motor switch and remove heater blower motor switch.
5. Depress tabs on both sides of A/C damper door switch. Remove A/C damper door switch.
INSTALLATION
1. Position heater blower motor switch or A/C damper door switch on heater control. Make sure retaining tabs on A/C damper door switch are
engaged in slots. Install retaining screw.
2. Connect wire connector to heater blower motor switch and wire connector and vacuum hose harness to A/C damper door switch.
3. Install knob.
4. Install climate control assembly in instrument panel.
5. Check system for proper operation.
