Seat Belt Height Adjuster: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove upper B-pillar interior trim.
2. Remove front seat shoulder strap guide cover by slipping finger behind front seat shoulder strap guide cover and pushing toward center of vehicle
to remove from front safety belt guide.
3. Lower front seat shoulder strap guide down by pressing lock mechanism buttons and pushing downward.
4. Remove front seat shoulder strap guide retaining bolt.
5. Remove upper front seat shoulder strap adjuster retaining bolt.
6. Remove lower front seat shoulder strap adjuster retaining bolt and remove front seat shoulder strap adjuster.
INSTALLATION
1. Install lower front seat shoulder strap adjuster and lower front seat shoulder strap adjuster retaining bolt. Tighten bolt to 38 Nm (28 lb ft).
2. Install upper front seat shoulder strap adjuster retaining bolt. Tighten bolt to 38 Nm (28 lb ft).
3. Install front seat shoulder strap guide and front seat shoulder strap guide retaining nut. Tighten front seat shoulder strap guide retaining nut to 38
Nm (28 lb ft).
4. Position front seat shoulder strap guide cover by positioning front shoulder strap guide cover over front shoulder strap guide and pressing gently
towards outside of vehicle.
5. Install upper B-pillar interior trim.
6. Check the restraint system for proper operation and perform Functional Test Procedure.
