Remove 4th gear, needle roller bearing, and 3rd/4th gear synchronizer ring from the input shaft (Figure 13).
d.
Remove snap ring and 3rd/4th gear synchronizer assembly from input shaft (Figure 14).

Remove the snap ring

Pull off the synchronizer assembly
CAUTION:
HANDLE THE INNER SYNCHRONIZER RING AND SYNCHRONIZER CONE VERY CAREFULLY.
