SERVICE PARTS - RETURN OF OIL FILTERS
FORD:
1995 CONTOUR
LINCOLN-MERCURY:
1995 MYSTIQUE
ISSUE:
Certain oil filters (FSRZ-6731-B, FL-200) may have a potential oil flow problem at 0°F (-18°C), or below, and should be withdrawn from your
inventory.
ACTION:
Remove and return the subject parts from your dealership's inventory. The subject parts should be withdrawn from your inventory and returned to your
facing PDC within thirty (30) days of this TSB.
1.
Perform 100% sort of all stock of oil filters (F5RZ-6731-B, FL-200) on hand.
2.
Return all stock on hand which does not have a "green dot" on the part nomenclature label to your facing PDC using the least expensive
transportation.
3.
Parts with a "green dot" on the part nomenclature label are okay and can be released for normal sales.
4.
If claim is processed electronically via DOES II, use return code "GB"; otherwise, complete a separate paper claim form FPS-340 using return
code "J".
5.
In the Remarks Section write "Returned per TSB 95-6-10".
LIMITS

The returns must be received within 30 days from the date of this TSB.

Returns are restricted to the subject parts.

The parts returned must have been purchased from FCSD in accordance with Policy And Procedure Bulletin 4000.
CREDIT
Credit for parts and prepaid freight costs will be issued.
