Lower the vehicle and install the auxiliary reservoir as outlined in the 1995 Contour/Mystique Service Manual.

5.

On 2.5L engines, connect the power steering pressure hose to the front engine support insulator and secure with one (1) bolt. Tighten the bolt to 6
N-m (53 lb-in).

6.

On 2.0L engines, connect the power steering pressure hose to the power steering pump bracket and the engine lifting bracket. Secure with one (1)
nut and two (2) bolts. Tighten the fasteners to 6 N.m (53 lb-in).

7.

Reconnect the battery ground cable.

8.

Refill the power steering system with clean Power Steering Fluid (E6AZ-19582-AA) as required. Refer to the 1995 Contour/Mystique Service
Manual, Section 11-00.

9.

Test drive the vehicle and verify the repair.
