ISSUE
Automatic transmission fluid may be seeping from the grommet-style vent assembly and down the main control cover or may be leaking fluid from the
fluid fill tube on some vehicles. The appearance of fluid on the main control cover may be misdiagnosed as a leak in the cooler line and/or main control
cover gasket.
ACTION
Diagnose leak and repair by referring to the following Service Procedure for details.
