While an assistant positions the A/C accumulator and lines toward the transaxle, if equipped, remove the cooling fan assembly from the vehicle.

NOTE:
You should perform this repair only if your inspection revealed a motor with a stamped slotted end cap which does not operates. In this situation, the
vehicle will not require electronic fuse installation.
1.
Install a memory saver, then disconnect the battery negative cable.
2.
Remove the cap from the degas bottle.
3.
Raise and support the vehicle.
4.
Remove the lower air deflector.
5.
Completely drain the engine cooling system.
