Drive Belt Tensioner: Service and Repair
Water Pump

REMOVAL

1. Remove water pump drive belt.
2. Remove tensioner bolt and tensioner from water pump.

INSTALLATION

1. Align tab on tensioner with hole in mounting area on water pump, then install tensioner onto pump. Tighten bolts to 5.9-8.8 ft lb.
2. Install water pump drive belt.
