Contour V6-153 2.5L DOHC (1996)
2. Using seal remover T92C-6700-CH, or equivalent, and piece of thin copper shim stock, 0.01 inch thick between crankshaft and seal remover tool,
remove crankshaft rear oil seal from cylinder block.
INSTALLATION
1. Clean and inspect crankshaft rear oil seal sealing surfaces on crankshaft and cylinder block, then lubricate crankshaft flange and crankshaft rear oil
seal bore with suitable engine assembly lubricant.

2. Install crankshaft rear oil seal using rear main seal replacer T82L-6701-A and rear crank seal replacer adapters T91P-6701-A, or equivalents.
Alternate bolt tightening to properly seat oil seal 0.02-0 inch flush to rear of cylinder block.
3. Install flywheel as follows:
a. Position flywheel on crankshaft flange, then install and tighten bolts in alternating sequence to 54-64 ft lb.
b. Check flywheel runout.
c. On models equipped with manual transaxle, install clutch disc and clutch pressure plate.
4. Install transaxle.
5. Run engine and check for leaks.
