ISSUE

The Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) may illuminate and Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) P0136, P0138 and/or P0141 may be stored in memory.
This may be caused by the rear Catalyst Monitor Sensor (CMS) wiring coming into contact with the link shaft. Over an extended period of time this
continuous contact can lead to chafing on the wire Insulation resulting in damage to the sensor wires.

ACTION

Replace the CMS sensor and re-route the wiring away from any possible contact with the link shaft. The sensor wiring is routed such that it is not
possible for the lead to come into contact with the link shaft. Refer to the following Service Procedure for details.
