Power Window Switch: Testing and Inspection
LH Front Master Switch (4 Door)
Test Procedure
Testing the power window master switch should be performed with the switch removed from the vehicle. Use a self-powered test lamp or an
ohmmeter.
Note: Lincoln Town Car terminals No.12, 13 and 14 are for the power door lock switch which is now incorporated in the master control. For test
procedure, refer to locks.
1. Clip one test lead probe on terminal 3 which is grounded.
2. With all switches in the NEUTRAL position, terminals 4 through 11 should have continuity to terminal 3.
