Evaporative Check Valve: Description and Operation

The evaporative emission fuel vapor control valve:

-

is located in-line between the evaporative emission valve and the evaporative emissions canister.

-

closes the flow path from the fuel vapor vent valve to the evaporative emissions canisters during refueling to prevent overfilling of the fuel tank.

The evaporative emission fuel vapor control valve is mounted on the fuel tank by an integral bracket.
