14. Reposition the brake anti-lock sensor wires, and install the rear brake anti-lock sensors. Tighten the brake anti-lock sensor bolt to 5 - 6 Nm (45 -
53 inch lbs.).
15. Reposition the parking brake rear cable and conduits. Connect the parking brake rear cable and conduits to the rear disc brake caliper anchor plate,
and install the retaining clip.
16. Connect the parking brake rear cable and conduits to the parking brake lever.
NOTE: Restore the tension to the parking brake rear cable and conduit.
17. Install the rear disc brake rotor.
18. Install the rear disc brake caliper.
18. Install the wheel and tire assemblies. Tighten the lug nuts to 115 - 142 Nm (85 - 105 ft. lbs.).
20. Remove the safety stands, then lower the vehicle. Turn the air suspension switch on.
21. Fill axle with Premium Rear Axle Lubricant XY-80W90-QL or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSP-M2C197-A. Add 118 ml (4 oz) of
Additive Friction Modifier C8AZ- 1 913546-A or equivalent meeting Ford specification EST-M2C118-A until fluid level is within 6 - 14 mm (1/4
- 9/16 inch) below bottom fill hole. Be sure the rear axle housing is in operating position. Install filler plug. Tighten to 20 - 40 Nm (15 - 30 ft.
lbs.).
CAUTION: Overfilling axle can cause rear axle housing vent and seal leakage.
22. Make sure rear axle housing vent is not plugged with debris.
23. Road test vehicle.
