Fuel Temperature Sensor: Service and Repair
Fuel Tank Temperature (Lower) Sensor
REMOVAL
NOTE: The lower fuel tank temperature sensor is also referred to as fuel tank temperature sensor No.2.
1. Carry out the Pressure Relief Fuel Line Venting procedure.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. Remove the lower NGV fuel tank shield upper nuts.
4. Remove the lower NGV fuel tank shield.

Remove the nuts.

Remove the lower NGV fuel tank shield.
5. Remove the lower NGV fuel tank temperature sensor.

Disconnect the lower NGV fuel tank temperature sensor electrical connector.

Remove the lower NGV fuel tank temperature sensor.
