PINPOINT TEST M: NO STANDARD CORPORATE PROTOCOL (SCP) NETWORK COMMUNICATIONS, ALL MODULES ARE NOT
RESPONDING
Normal Operation
The SCP network has an unshielded twisted pair cable. The SCP network permits intermodule communication between the data link connector (DLC)
and the network modules. When the scan tool communicates to the modules on the SCP network, the scan tool must request all information or initiate
module commands. The lighting control module (LCM), the electronic automatic temperature control (EATC) module (if equipped), the driver door
module (DDM), the overhead console module and the instrument cluster communicate with the scan tool through the SCP network. The overhead
console module is present only on vehicles equipped with an overhead console with compass display. Circuits 914 (TN/OG) (SCP +) and 915
(PK/LB) (SCP-) provide the connection for the SCP network.
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
