Expansion Block/Orifice Tube: Service and Repair
SPECIAL SERVICE TOOL(S)
REMOVAL
1. Remove the condenser to evaporator tube. For additional information, refer to Line-Condenser to Evaporator.

For an undamaged fixed orifice tube, perform Steps 2 and 3.

For a broken fixed orifice tube, perform Steps 4 and 5.
2. Engage the Fixed Orifice Tube Tool to the A/C evaporator core orifice.
3. Hold the tool T-handle stationary and rotate the tool body to remove the A/C evaporator core orifice.
