Throttle Cable/Linkage: Service and Repair
Cable Bracket
REMOVAL
1. Remove the front engine appearance cover and the throttle return spring .
2. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle body lever.
3. Remove the screw (cable to bracket) and remove the accelerator cable from the accelerator cable bracket.
4. Remove the speed control cable. For additional information, refer to Cruise Control.
5. Remove the spring.
6. Remove the nuts and remove the EGR vent solenoid.
