12. Disconnect the transmission range indicator cable.
13. Loosen the aft steering column mounting nuts and allow the steering column to drop down enough for clearance to remove the upper steering
column shroud.
14. Remove the upper steering column shroud.
15. Remove the Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) transmitter.

Remove the PATS transmitter retaining screw.

Remove the PATS transmitter.
