6. Drain the engine oil.
7. Disconnect the engine oil pressure (EOP) sensor electrical connector.
8. Remove the EOP sensor.
9. Release the lower radiator hose clamp and position the lower radiator hose aside.
4.6L engines
10. Remove the nuts, bolts, oil filter adapter and gasket.

Discard the gasket.
