ISSUE
Some 2006 E-Series vehicles equipped with a 4.6L engine and built prior to 6/19/2006 may exhibit intermittent diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0316
with or without additional misfire DTCs P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0305, P0306, P0307 and P0308.
ACTION
Reprogram the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to the latest calibration using WDS/IDS release B43.7 and higher or B44.1 and higher. This new
calibration is not included in the B44 CD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
