2. NOTE: The seat mounting latches are serviced as part of the bench seat risers. If either seat mounting latch is damaged and cannot be released to
remove the seat, remove the seat latch striker with the seat attached.
Pull the 2 seat latch release straps and remove the rear seat.
3. Remove the 10 bolts and 2 risers from the seat cushion frame.

To install, tighten to 51 Nm (38 lb-ft).
4. Release all the backrest trim cover rear J-clips and remove the inner cardboard panel from the backrest.
5. Release the cushion trim cover rear J-clips and access the safety belt retractor anchor bolt.
6. NOTE: Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted prior to installation.
Remove the center safety belt anchor bolt(s) and route the safety belt(s) through the seat cushion.

To install, tighten to 75 Nm (55 lb-ft).
7. Remove the 2 screws and safety belt guide cover.

If 4-passenger bench seat, remove both safety belt covers.
8. Remove the safety belt retractor cover.

If 4-passenger bench seat, remove both safety belt retractor covers.
9. If equipped, remove the armrest in the following sequence.

Release the armrest trim cover hook-and-loop at the rear edge and partially invert to access the armrest bolt.

Remove the armrest bolt.

To install, tighten to 49 Nm (36 lb-ft).

Remove the armrest.
10. CAUTION: Use care not to tear the foam pad when releasing the backrest trim cover retainers.
Remove the backrest trim cover.

Release the inner backrest trim cover J-clips and invert the trim cover up the backrest to the row of retainers.

Separate the row of retainers and continue inverting the trim cover.

Route out the safety belt(s) and remove the backrest trim cover.
11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Make sure the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants after installation.

Verify the safety belt retractor operates without excessive effort or binding.
