Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

MASS AIR FLOW (MAF) SENSOR

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the air cleaner.

2. CAUTION:  Do not tamper with the mass air flow (MAF) sensing elements located in the airflow meter. Tampering can result in unit

failure.

Open the air cleaner.

Release the air box clamp.

-

Separate the inlet side from the outlet side of the air cleaner.
