Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair

Special Tool(s)
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the front door trim panel.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Remove the center pins from the rivets using a drift. Using a 1/4 inch diameter drill, drill out the rivets attaching the window regulator electric
drive bracket to the inner panel.
NOTE: Use care not to enlarge the sheet metal holes in the door inner panel.
