Parking Brake Control: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
Parking Brake Cable And Conduit
2. Disconnect the front parking brake cable and conduit.
a. Remove the (A) tension limiter nut.
b. Separate the (B) tension limiter from the (C) equalizer.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Remove the LH cowl side trim panel.
Parking Brake Signal Switch Electrical Connector
5. Disconnect the (A) electrical connector from the (B) parking brake signal switch and bracket.
Parking Brake Control
6. Remove three (A) parking brake control nuts and separate the (B) parking brake control from the (C) steering column support bracket.
