5. Use Valve Spring Compressor to compress the valve springs.
6. Remove the following:
1. Remove the valve spring retainer key.
2. Remove the valve spring retainer.
3. Remove the valve spring.
4. Remove and discard the valve stem seal.
5. Remove the valve spring seat.
6. Secure the valve to keep it from dropping.
7. Inspect the components, if necessary.
INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
CAUTION: Components removed should be marked for location. Make sure components are installed in the correct location.
NOTE: Lubricate parts with engine oil prior to assembly.
