Oil Pan: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Drain the cooling system.
3. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
4. Remove the fan shroud and fan.
5. Remove the upper intake manifold.
6. Remove the bolt retaining the dipstick tube support bracket to the transmission converter housing.
7. Raise the vehicle.
8. Drain the oil pan.
9. Loosen the transmission mount-to-rear crossmember retaining nuts.
10. Remove the exhaust pipe-to-manifold retaining nuts (left side shown, right side similar).
