2. Drain the refrigerant oil.

Drill a hole in the bottom of the suction accumulator/drier.

Drain the oil into a suitable oil measuring container.
ASSEMBLY
1. Add refrigerant oil.

Use new Motorcraft YN-12b refrigerant oil or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C213-B.
^
Add same amount of clean, new refrigerant oil that was removed, plus 59 ml (2 fl oz).
2. Install the A/C cycling switch.
a. Install a new green O-ring.

Lubricate with clean Motorcraft YN-12b refrigerant oil or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B.
Note: The green O-ring(s) cannot be seen. They are located in the connection(s).
b. Install the A/C cycling switch.
INSTALLATION
1. Install the suction accumulator/drier.
a. Install the suction accumulator/drier.
b. Install the screws.
