Evaporator Case: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation
With Auxiliary A/C
Auxiliary Air Conditioning and Heater case removal.
Removal procedures must be done individually by component.
With Standard A/C
REMOVAL
1. Recover the refrigerant.
2. Remove the battery.
WARNING: TO AVOID ACCIDENTAL DEPLOYMENT AND POSSIBLE INJURY, THE AIRBAG SYSTEM BACKUP POWER
SUPPLY MUST BE DEPLETED BEFORE REPAIRING ANY CLIMATE CONTROL COMPONENTS. TO DEPLETE THE BACKUP
POWER SUPPLY, DISCONNECT THE BATTERY TO STARTER CABLE AND WAIT ONE MINUTE.
