Fuel Pressure Regulator: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
WARNING: Fuel in the fuel system remains under high pressure even when the engine is not running.
1. Perform Fuel Pressure Release:
Engine shown removed for clarity
2. Remove the fuel pressure regulator.

Remove the fuel pressure regulator vacuum hose.

Remove the two fuel pressure regulator screws.

Remove the fuel pressure regulator.
4
Remove and discard the (A) two fuel pressure regulator O-rings and the (B) fuel pressure regulator return seal.
INSTALLATION
NOTE: Lubricate the new O-rings with engine oil.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
