E 150 1/2 Ton Van V6-4.2L VIN 2 (1997)
1. Rotate the (A) crankshaft until the No. 1 cylinder is at TDC and the (B) TDC mark lines up with the (C) timing mark pointer.
2. Install Syncro Positioning Tool on the camshaft synchronizer by rotating Syncro Positioning Tool until it engages the notch in the camshaft
synchronizer housing.
NOTE: During installation, the arrow on the syncro alignment tool will rotate clockwise as the gears engage.
