Sun Gear: Service and Repair

Part 1 Of 2

DISASSEMBLY 

1. Remove the (A) reverse sun gear assembly and the (B) No. 4 forward clutch hub bearing.

2. Remove the (A) forward clutch sun gear and the (B) No. 5 forward clutch sun gear bearing.

ASSEMBLY 

1. The forward clutch sun gear and reverse sun gear assembly are assembled as part of the transmission assembly procedure.
